The idea
Radio brings people together, one contact at a time. The goal was a simple, dependable setup in the heart of Valletta — nothing that needs a field of wires, just a station that is always ready when the band opens.
The setup
The Icom IC-7300 sits at the centre of the shack, with its spectrum scope making it easy to spot activity across the band. Outside, a single Sirio Monsoon vertical does the work. Malta’s position in the middle of the Mediterranean does the rest.
On the air
Every contact is logged and every confirmed QSO gets a card. If you hear 93SD158 calling from Valletta, it will be a pleasure to hear you.
